At the beginning I wasn’t confident with myself, but walking into this course with very minimal knowledge, Mark helped me understand the material extremely well with the presentation on Day 1. The following three days for training, i was way more comfortable with handling, firing, having knowledge, and the basics of the ins and outs of the weapon. The course is very well detailed and goes through every step to understanding the materials.

I plan on continuing to train with Mark to keep focus with gun use and gain more knowledge that i have learned from the course.

FTC did a phenomenal job going through basic gun safety with my daughter. This was her first time handling and shooting firearms. It was nice to have a professional instructor who had access to firearms which were more suitable to her than my mine. She could try some options before we went out to purchase and the range we attended was very nice. We felt extremely safe throughout the entire process which was the most important thing to us but also had a lot of fun! Highly recommend this company.

I had a great time training with Mark. I went into this course with little knowledge about firearms. The course was a lot more in-depth then I thought. We had a full day of classroom training which went over the the do’s and don’ts when carrying and a lot more. The course was very informational and the instructor was very knowledgeable. The classroom portion taught me a lot about the basics of pistols and about carrying. I was very impressed. At the range, we were able to go at my pace and Mark made sure I was comfortable with everything I was being taught before moving forward. I learned the proper stance, grip, and technique for firing a pistol. We also did some drills which taught me to draw from the holster and how to reload quickly. Overall, the course was a great experience and taught me a lot. I look forward to working with Mark again in the future to keep improving my skills.

My lesson with Mark was great! He is highly knowledgeable, goes at your pace, and ensures you’re ready before moving on. I don’t know that I’ve ever held a pistol, much less shot one, so he started with the very basics and I quickly became comfortable handling the weapon safely. I will definitely go back (even though after only one lesson with him I already feel like a badass :)).

My entire family and I took the “Refuse to be a Victim” course. The training was excellent. FTC NOVA was very professional, explained the concepts in a clear and memorable fashion, and gave us the tools to help us avoid becoming “soft targets” for bad guys.
